50 Seasiders Oysters
Location: Chesapeake Seaside – Chincoteague Bay
Size: approx 3″ with a cup
Farming Technique: Seasiders oysters are grown from oyster seed in a hatchery until they are about 1/2″. Then they are grown in bags in cages in the water column until they are about 2″ when they are transferred to tray cages until harvest at 3″. Each oyster is tumbled / sorted at least six times before harvest.

Flavor: Bracingly salty oyster with complex moss flavors and clean finish.
Sourced by: Tal & Na Petty (Founder of Hollywood Oyster Company). We visit oyster farms throughout the Chesapeake Bay to identify the creeks with the most memorable flavors that are grown by passionate farmers. We pick up oysters at the farm several times a week and assure consistent quality.
